Profile

Claire graduated from La Trobe University in 2019 with a Masters in Occupational Therapy in Bendigo, Victoria. During her studies, Claire had the opportunity to seek unique placement experiences in areas of mental health, acute care and hand therapy.

Claire has a keen interest in hand therapy and has a strong drive to support people to maintain or restore participation in meaningful daily tasks despite their hand injury.

Prior to commencing her hand therapy journey, Claire has worked for two years as an occupational therapist in paediatrics, assisting children and their families with daily living skills. Claire also has experience as an accredited athletics coach amongst youth, with special interest in Javelin throwing.

Claire is driven by using core occupational therapy principles to complement upper limb rehabilitation. Claire is eager to provide evidence based upper limb care for acute and chronic hand injuries and strives to continue to develop her knowledge and skills.
