Esther completed her Master of Occupational Therapy in 2014. Her interest in hand and upper limb rehabilitation was developed through her training in becoming an occupational therapist, especially through her clinical placement at the SA Hand Therapy.
Esther brings her occupational therapy practice with a background of scientific and clinical research, having completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in 2009 and gained employment experience in clinical research. She has also presented a systematic review of “The effectiveness of splinting for trigger finger/thumb” at the Australian Hand Surgery Society Conference (South Australia) 2014.
Esther adopts evidence based and client centred approach to guide her clinical practice in developing intervention and rehabilitation program for her patients to achieve optimal outcome.
Esther is an associate member of the Australia Hand Therapy Association.
