Counterforce Elbow Brace

Description

The Ottobock Epiflex counterforce elbow brace is a good option for tennis elbow or golfers elbow. Made from a semi-rigid pre-formed plastic outer shell with a soft neoprene liner it is a comfortable option. The Epiflex elbow brace can be used on either a right arm or left arm. It has a velcro adjustable strap to achieve the desire level of support and comfort.

This type of brace is particularly helpful when pain is experienced at the outer or inner bony part of the elbow during a gripping task or carrying task.

Indications
Indicated for medial epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow) and lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow)

Why do we recommend this product?

• The wider surface area of the support reduces the risk of pressure over the radial nerve in the mid forearm compared to other related tennis elbow supports in the market
• The slightly elongated shape of the plastic mould can be aligned to the extensor or flexor muscles of the forearm which distributes pressure evenly on the muscle bulk by taking load off the common extensor or common flexor tendon origin.
