The Active Hands Hook Aid is a specialised adaptive grip aid designed to help people with limited hand function grip and release bars, handles and equipment independently—whether you’re working out in the gym, using exercise machines, handling handlebars on hand bikes, or engaging in everyday tasks where a secure grip is needed.
Strong Double Hook Design: Each aid features robust stainless steel double hooks that deliver a stable, reliable hold under tension, closely mimicking a natural grip during pulling movements.
Innovative Elastic Loop: The elastic loop slips around a finger so the hook stays upright and ready to catch the bar, even when reaching overhead or forward—greatly improving ease of use compared with standard hook aids.
Optional Silicone Grip Tubes: Includes four silicone tubes that can be added over the hooks for extra grip and padding on slick or padded bars. These help reduce rotation and prevent slipping on certain surfaces.
Versatile Use: Ideal for closed-ended bars, hand bikes, weight machines and functional exercise equipment where looped aids may not fit or work effectively.
