This year’s joint trip with “Helping Hands in Bhutan”, our inhouse charity program, has now been visiting Bhutan for 10 years!
We had another very fruitful trip to Bhutan in April/May with a focus on continuing education.
Another fantastic fulfilling trip to Bhutan. The Ministry of Health and Royal Government of Bhutan have signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Interplast Australia and New Zealand ensuring our ongoing collaboration over the next 3 years.
In November 2016, we saw over 100 patients in our hand therapy clinic in Thimphu, the Capital. The conditions seen were complex and diverse.
This year’s 2016 joint trip with Interplast Australia and New Zealand was both hard work, rewarding and fun!
For the 2015 Bhutan visit, Suzanne was was assisted by an extended team from Interplast Australia and New Zealand.
In January 2014 Suzanne lead a large team of volunteers to Bhutan for a combined intensive program of hand surgery, therapy and education courses.
Suzanne Caragianis, Dr Philip Griffin, Dr Michael Hayes and Megan Fitzgerald visited Bhutan for two weeks of intensive hand surgery and hand therapy.
Suzanne Caragianis and Vanessa Holohan went to Bhutan this year after enormous preparation and renewed enthusiasm.
Suzanne Caragianis has developed a strong desire over the past 10 years to undertake medical missionary work overseas.
