Bhutan Fundraiser for Surgical Camp

17th November 2018

Dr Tim Proudman, Suzanne and the Interplast team held a very successful fundraiser for a surgical camp in Mongar, Bhutan in 2019 to help children with cleft pallet and congenital anomalies.

Suzanne helped the Bhutanese cook momo’s, the local Bhutanese food and organise our local Bhutanese community to dance.

We raised $57,000 which will enable Interplast to fund a team of surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses to venture to the Far East in Bhutan and change young peoples lives!

Our Helping Hands in Bhutan program is still live and well and you can make a tax deductible donation through our website.

Our hand patients rely on our ongoing support to supply vital therapeutic aids they couldnt otherwise afford .

"We’ve helped set up hand care clinics in Bhutan, provided specialist equipment and trained local staff."
