Corlia completed a science degree in Physiology and Psychology and went on to complete her Physiotherapy degree in Florida USA in 1999. She soon developed a keen interest in hand therapy and on moving to New Zealand she completed advanced training to become a registered hand therapist.
Corlia has worked as a hand therapist since 2002 in tertiary level hospitals and private practices. She has co-authored a book chapter on imaging of the wrist and hand and developed post operative treatment protocols in hand therapy units.
Corlia commenced working with SA Hand Therapy in February 2018. She also works as a volunteer Physiotherapist for the junior state hockey team and has a special interest in treating sports injuries.
